I've tried viper and didnt like it. My question is,if I want to try another Rom, can I just do same flashing process but with any suitable HTC one x international Rom?

Yep, boot to recovery, backup, factory reset, flash ROM, flash boot image in fastboot and reboot.

Sorry el but why's it need to be flashed with fastboot on pc if the Rom is in the phone memory? Also I never wiped just before I put my pre-viper Rom (saved it) back on and it's running ok.confused
Ps:as soon as I restored to my stock Rom live football streaming worked strIght away. I read a lot o folk had streaming probes with viper also.
Any recommendations for another Rom?lol

With the bootloader unlock solution HTC offer, you can't flash certain partitions in recovery.
It doesn't matter on a lot of Sense ROMs as they use the same, stock boot.img (more commonly called a kernel) so you can sometimes go from ROM to ROM without flashing it. You can't go from a Sense based ROM to a non Sense based ROM without flashing the non Sense kernel either.
You could try Android Revolution? That's a very popular one, close to stock with a few tweaks for battery and performance.
