International vs. AT&T RAM/Cores

I've been hearing different numbers from different sites as to how many cores and how much RAM the International and AT&T versions have. Is there any good site for reliable specs that I can base my buying process off of?
Also, if the International version is potentially faster or I prefer it, can I purchase that and still use AT&T on it? I'm a little confused about this. Thank in advance for any help, it's much appreciated as I'm still learning the ropes!

From the reviews I have seen there isn't much difference from a performance perspective. However the primary reason for the difference is the Snapdragon S4 has all the radios on die. Which is why they likely compensated with more ram. Also the International version is incompatible with US carriers. As we'll the S3 for each carrier are incompatible with each other.

I have the Blue Verizon 16 GB version and I love it! There is a cnet article on it that explains it better than I.

You can certainly use the international version on AT&T but the international version has 1gb less RAM I believe and DOES NOT have LTE radios for data on AT&T.

This is correct. The i9300 (international version) can utilize AT&T. It can access 3G HSPA+ data, but not LTE data. If this is a sacrifice you can live with in order to have a quadcore Exynos processor instead of a dualcore Snapdragon S4, then that's completely up to you.

Thank you for the helpful info! I think I'll definitely manage with the dual core in exchange for getting LTE speeds :) Again, thanks!

i believe samsung will soon be releasing a quad core LTE s3 with 2 gigs of ram... at least in the international market

My understanding is that the US LTE frequencies are different. Apple got into trouble in the UK (yes), because they launched their new tablet saying it was 4G capable when it fact its not compatible with European frequencies and so they had to remove the 4g reference from the packaging and instructions.
