Root [International] XXELLB or XXELLA?

Hello I rooted my phone then put a few rom's on. I wanted to go back to stock XXELLA 4.1.2 firmware witch i had on before, so downloaded what i thought was the right 1. it turns out to be the Korean firmware. I have a uk galaxy s3 unbranded with a o2 sim. what I want to no is what is the difference between the XXELLB or XXELLA uk firmware's.

If you want to go back to stock, you should use a UK BTU one as if you have a korean CSC, you wont get updates for it.

latest for UK is XXEMB1

I'm not sure why, but everytime I've flashed the BTU firmware, when I then connect to Kies it tells me mine is KOR and not supported.
