Help Internet connectivity issue over wifi

[Android Question]

In our office, we have a requirement to download our product app from play store and check.
But there the LAN and mobile mobile WiFi are on different ports, because of which we cannot establish a connection between laptop n mobile.
Now, is there any way I can share the laptop internet to android device.
Tried all the available tools like connectify, mhotspot etc..Heard that its an andriod limitation and not possible to share n access the internet in device.
If anyone have a solution for the above, please share.

I have not tried that yet, but 1st what operating system is the laptop using?
Windows?

I think it would be easier to just bring in a WiFi router to the office and connect it to the office LAN. Make sure the WiFi router is secured, and not open.

You could install a WiFi card/USB device.
