Today i've bought a Android tv box Mx7 e-m6 with XMBC Jellybean 4.2.2 pre installed. So far so good.
I wanted to use to box for streaming files from my home pc, and stream movies and series online. For that ofcource is needed a internet connection. I don't want a wifi connection because of the streaming from my pc (large files) so i've used a ethernet (LAN) cable for that.
So, my pc and my Android box are wired to the router. But there is the problem. For some reason, my box doesn't reconize (completely?) the internet connection. Because of that, none off the apps work and I can't find my pc on the box.
If i go settings, internet, i have a connection says the box. Only i can't change any of these settings, they are all 'grey'. Then, if I go to system information, i haven't got any connection at all!
I've tried also with the filemanager to make an LAN connection, but failed that as well. Also in the android menu, a failing connection. Also tried a other cable (one I know works) and the same result.
Who has tips or suggestions for me? What can i do to make this work?
