I have just had huge problems with McAfee Live Safe on my Note. Having wasted almost 5 hours over two days and still not fixed the problems occurring since I installed the product on my PC, smartphone, laptop and tablet I am about to remove the McAfee from all devices. Does anyone know of a reliable internet security app for the Note 4.

Fighting malware as it comes in is nearly impossible - even on a pc, despite product claims to the contrary.

Maybe try Dolphin browser, install the ad blocking add-on, that's going to stop a lot of bad sites and links before you can get there.

Dolphin also closes some Android browser vulnerabilities.

And maybe for peace of mind try MalwareBytes.

But - there's no substitute for safe browsing habits - nothing personal, just reality.

Note that a lot of Android anti-virus stuff is nonsense. This isn't Windows, the potential malware infection vectors are very different.

Your biggest threat is garbage apps that have too many permissions and promise you the world.

And *never* go looking for cracked apps or media sites playing fast and loose with copyrights.

Thanks EarlyMon - I've taken your advice and installed all three suggestions.
