Welcome to the forums.

It appears that your usage and your data plan are not a good match at all.

That leaves you with the two obvious choices: 1. modify your usage (that Facebook updating, etc), or 2. upgrade your data plan to accommodate your usage.

The fact that they are so far off speaks to poor sales skills by your store rep, in my opinion.. unless you did not make clear to him your usage.

Most people don't know how much they are going to use when you get an Android phone. You can do so much on them, even automatic tasks like sync and Facebook FML etc, that data adds up quick and you end up getting blindsided by a ginormous bill.
