Hi, I'm Steve and I'm a happy 1-year Epic 4G (Currently Gingerbread) unrooted user. [in unison: "Hiiiii, Steeeeeve"]

I've got a few tweaks that need doing on the Epic and I'll be asking here for experienced guidance. I hope to be of service to others as well.

Bio:

Married to Cheryl 21 Years April 2012, At-Home Dad to Cailey and Nicholas, two amazing 11-year old kids who we adopted in Kazakhstan, back in March 2002.

By profession, I'm a self-employed 23-year Tax Professional and 15-year IRS-Authorized eFile Provider. (Please contact me if you are looking for a tax guy!)

By choice, I'm a functional artist. I create beautiful mid-to-high-end writing instruments (roller, ball-point and fountain pens, and mechanical pencils) and desk/gift items using a variety of woods, natural materials, synthetic stone and acrylic/celluloid.

By blessing, I've 22 Nieces, Nephews and Godchildren, many of which I get to babysit quite frequently.

I've lived in Massachusetts most of my life, save for a 7-year stretch in Charlotte, NC.

It comes naturally to me after all these 23 years. Handling dozens up to hundreds of returns each year for the past 23 years, it is constant learning. Repetition is key, and there's always something new to come along that prepares me for the next challenge. Like the year we had to file 15 different states because of being a travelling consultant. Not somewhere I want to go again (coordinating the 15 states), but could certainly do so if I had to. Honestly my hat is off to anyone who tries to do it on their own these days!
