Introducing myself & my non working HTC EVO 4G

Hi, I am joining your forum, cuz its my last resort and need to learn how to fix my phone myself. With your help I think I can do it. Hopefully its a software issue and not hardware or both and can be fixed.

I am new to programing phones but have some tech experience and a quick learner. I would be amazed if you guys can help me fix my phone. Probably need to learn some basics.

I have tried searching for ways to fix, but no fully detailed info on how to fix it.

You mention programming the phone, any chance you are rooted? If so, there's a great community there that'll get you sorted out in a jiffy.
