Hopefully they wont reduce most of the specs of the smaller 5.2 inch Nexus X model like some manufacturers do with their mini versions of other smartphones.

I agree with you, if anything just build two new models. The 5.2" and 5.9".

Samsung has proven there's a robust market for the larger display size.

My personal experience using my Note 3 and Nexus 5 concurrently for the last year, reveals the incredible usefulness of a display ranging from 5.7" to 6.0".

Combined in a Nexus phone with unadulterated Android OS, makes for a remarkably useful, fast fun and reliable smartphone.

Take it from a guy that's had every single iPhone concurrent with Androidd since 2007, in my experience Android has surged to the forefront in all but the most inconsequential areas.

Try as I may my Androids just won't BEND...:)
