Recently retired as Head of English at a Christian school in Rangiora, New Zealand, I am continuing teaching senior History via VC, Moodle, and Google Docs to students around the South Island. This year, I am using Google Dashboard to monitor my students' work. I would appreciate communicating with other teachers using this valuable tool, as even my ePrincipal struggles to get the answers sometimes, suggesting I post questions and comments on a forum which he initiated on the 'staffroom' linked to our Moodle site. I have just bought my second Android phone, a Huawei Ideos X3 and am learning about its possibilities and liabilities. I am a keen fly fisherman and write for one of New Zealand's fishing and hunting magazines: Rod & Rifle. I also write music. Am married with eight grandchildren.
