Inverted Question mark - Question.

Hello :)

I am new to this forum and also quite a newbie to android... so please, if you can help me, try to give me kind of "for dummies" explanation.

Here's the deal:

I have had a Galaxy S3 for a few months now and I loved it so much that my wife got me the Galaxy Tab 2 yesterday. So as I explored it and made it just like my phone, I realized that none of the samsung keyboard languages have the inversed question mark or the inversed exclamation mark (which by the way, are included in the Galaxy S3 keyboard). Now, my native language is spanish and these two come in very handy when you try to spell spanish correctly.

I have already tried the swiftkey app... but I find it very difficult for my clumsy fingers.

Any ideas on how or where can I find these two symbols with the samsung keyboard?

Regards,

KaPa :)

Welcome to the forums.

When you have the keyboard invoked, say in sms, etc, touch the "sym" key on the left, then the "1/2" key. The "1/2" is a symbol for page numbers of the symbols (page 1 and page 2).

You'll see the inverted question mark and exclamation point on that 2nd page. :)

Then hit the "abc" key to get back to the letters of the alphabet.

Hi Frisco and thank you for the prompt answer.

I already tried that, because on my Galaxy S3, the inverted question mark is located on the 2/3 page, but on my new Samsung Tab 2 is not. Any ideas?

Thank you again.

KaPa.

I have Smart Keyboard Pro on my Galaxy Tab. Those symbols are included, plus it's got multi-language support. :)

Got it at the Play Store.

When I use the version of SwiftKey from the Play Store I can get the inverted ? and ! by going to the number page. They are on that first number page on the right side when I long press the standard ? and !

Is that not the case for you?

gtbarry: The thing is that I tried the swiftkey app, but the buttons are very slim.. and my fingers to thick XD Any way, thanks for your concern.

Frisco: Got it and tried it. Works great!

Cheers mate!

Smart Keyboard pro. Keys are big enough for my fingers and has all the symbols I want.

Cheers again.

KaPa.
