So I have a Nexus 7 and an iPhone 5. I was wondering if anyone knew a solution for recurving and sending text messages from my N7 through the iPhone. I haven't found an app that supports the cross platform. Meaning, if a friend texts me I want to be able to see it on my tablet and be able to reply back from my tablet. Any help would be much appreciated.

You could always port a a number to Google voice
or just use one of the free numbers from it

Google voice, omg I'm in love! Google voice is my primary phone number. Use the same number for texting and calling on all, ALL my devices. Tablet, phone, home phone, computer, glasses? Not yet.
The only way to make this happen, that I know of, is to jailbreak your iPhone and install DeskSMS. Could be other options out there but I have friends who have done this with their iPhone 4.
