iPhone 4s: what do you think?

I've wanted an iPhone for so long now, and now that it's finally on vm I'm starting to question my decision. I dont mind paying the outrageous price because I know that's how much the no contract fee is, I just dont want it to end up being a waste and I regret getting it. I feel like I love the iPhone so much, not because of the phone itself, but cause of it's memory, storage and speed! And I feel like it being on sprint/virgin network, it wont be as fast as say, an att iphone. You know?

Has anyone used the virgin mobile iphone and seen first hand if it's slow cause of the network? Or does anyone have any thoughts about if vms network will drag the phone down?

I'm coming from the triumph, so i think any phone I go to next will show huge improvement from this one :P

The phone will be an improvement over the Triumph, the network will not. All is not lost though, as Sprint continues with their rollout of Network Vision nationwide 3G speeds will continue to improve.

It could be an iphone 7s, and still wouldn't be half the phone as any Android.
Well, you asked what I thought.

I highly doubt you will see any increased speeds. It's still going to be using the same 3G network. If you want to stay with VM, and get faster speeds, you should get an EVO V. That's the only current VM phone that is 4G.

The iPhone doesnt have the proper band to support Network Vision. The Evo V, however, does :D

It's a quad band phone.

I was leaning toward the Evo, but the thing is I want the iPhone, ive been on android forever and that was only because I never could get the iPhone, that's the phone I want, i just dont want it to be a let down because of vm's network, but it doesnt change the fact that I love and badly want the iPhone :P

Get it if you want it that bad lol

I think it is a waste of money and components. I had an iphone 3g right before I got my Optimus V, it was a good gate way to smart phones, but it almost made me give up on them as well.

It was slightly better than my OV pre-root and leagues behind once I installed a CM7 ROM.

This is a new one on me.
It changes what I've been telling people that I am trying to convince that Android is far superior, which is that nobody has ever gone to an iphone after using a SMART phone.
I cant say this anymore, unless you come around!
Lol!

hahahha my bad! I mean dont get me wrong I love android, and actually if vm ever got the samsung galaxy id probably choose that over the iphone :P I think I'm just drawn to the iphone cause of the camera, I want a an android with a good camera, and sadly vm definitely doesnt have one of those yet lol

If you want a good camera get a cheap digital camera. It isn't the mega-pixel count, its the sensor. A 50-100$ digital camera would blow the iPhone out of the water because it has a much larger sensor.

Not only that, unless the iPhone has optical zoom you can't zoom. The digital zoom just blows up the pixels.
