IPhone apps on G1

Trying very hard not to be an a-hole here...

The phone has been out a week. I highly doubt anyone has even considered the possibility of writing all the connecting code to wrap every single iphone API call, hardware function, and UI element on Android. That's before you even consider that if the processors aren't the same, somebody has to write a CPU emulator first.

Not to mention that the iPhone is an essentially undocumented, closed system and will probably always be so.

You're either on crack or you think that this whole technology thing is easy.

I think the problem is going to be "Apple won't let you".

Don't worry though, there really isn't anything on the apple App Store that isn't already being made for Android.

However there will be tons of stuff that will come to Android before the iPhone. And some that just can't because of current hardware/software restrictions.

anyone? I am sure there has got to be a way, with or without software modifications to the apps and or phone.

Sorry, there are just so many technical, practical and legal reasons that this WILL NEVER HAPPEN. I'm really not afraid to throw in the word never here. If you want to run iPhone apps, your best bet is to of course: buy an iPhone.
