iphone for boost

No, at the moment this has not been possible. I have a store and my wife loves the iphone, so I tried to find a to flash it and it seems the new iphones are pretty tightly secured.
 
Its because its the iphone apples security is tight this is why i hate apple there only getting money because there generic and have a.big name but wait android will become bigger once apple cant think of anything new also android might be going to laptops and netpads!

There's no "flashing" involved. You call up cricket and tell them you have a phone you want on their network. They put it in and activate it.

Nothing like how the Evo/Epic etc could be put on Boost.

you cant do the same for boost?
 
No. Boost doesn't accept outside meids. They used to accept some Sprint meids (usually dumb phones) but that's a thing of the past too.
 
This is probabaly great news for Android devices.

If Boost will offer expensive iPhones then they will most likely have a better selection of Android devices too.
 
Better selection is not all that for me... better prices is what I'm looking for. If the iPhone is going to hit Boost then I think they're going to offer better prices on their standing devices I feel. That's usually their modus operandi from what I've seen.

The way it looks, soon USA cellphones are going to go the same route of 90% of the rest of the world. You buy your device, pay full price for it, and you're free to do what you want with it. Go to any carrier. If you have a large sum to put down you get the large, hefty device and if you only want to put down a small amount you go with the basic, feature phone. The USA cellphone business model was not sustainable anyway.
 
If boost does start offering the iphone the weak cell network will only get weaker case in point when sprint picked it up their network went to the crap it is today right before they released the iphone but after all those network upgrade they had a decent network but now after the iphone their network sucks
