Help Iphone not recieving android messages

I have a Samsung galaxy s5 and my girlfriend has an iPhone 5. We text each other daily alot however recently not all of my messages have been received by her. We will be texting perfectly fine then randomly she wont receive my message ? it says sent on my phone and I get a delivery report however still nothing on her end. It doesn't happen with anyone else for either of us, its only our messages and it is coming quite the inconvenience. We have both deleted and re-added each other as a contact and I have done a factory reset but nothing seems to help. Does anyone know what we can do?
 
Which messaging app are you using? Try another, Textra, QKSMS or Hangouts.

If you're getting a sucessful delivery report, it actually sounds like an issue her end or with your/her network.
 
I wouldn't know where to start with an iPhone, sorry.

I know in the past, I've seen issues with ex iPhone owners switching to Android and their number is still registered against imessage. Have you ever owned an iPhone?
