iPhone screen cracked

Not sure if this is the right area for this, but my girl dropped her iPhone 4 and cracked the screen pretty good. I was just wondering if any of you had an idea of where to get a replacement. I have looked on Amazon but the reviews are hit or miss on most of the ones on there.

And I know this is Android forums, but I know many of you gave had experience with the iphone.
 
You could go to an Apple store and ask how much is it to replace the screen and then decide if you want to spend the money.

Otherwise, I would advise you go to the macrumors.com forum and ask there.

When I found my iPod Touch had mysteriously been stepped on, I got a replacement screen through here (well first amazon but that was a piece of garbage) The screen I received from this site was very similar to the stock one, back then it was fairly cheap compared to apple fixing it for you. I'm not sure of the costs of apple anymore so compare prices if you are still looking.
 
i could point you to some good places in Tokyo, but now in the U.S.

All I know is that if you change your screen with an aftermarket fixer, your gurantee will be gone and the next time you break your phone, you will probably just have to buy a new one.

This is why I use really bulky but strong cases :)
 
That is the downfall with fixing it yourself, your warranty goes away.. so you're kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place... Pay apple a ridiculous amount to make a 10 minute fix, or buy the parts yourself and do a little research and then feel the pride knowing you accomplished something, but at the same time lose your warranty.

I personally don't see much in the warranty, as long as you take decent care of your device it will stay functioning.
