iPhone to S7 edge

Craiglucky

Lurker
I am about to buy a S7 edge and my concern is that one of the main uses of my iPhone is for my music, I'm getting mixed responses from O2 as too how I get my music from my iMac iTunes to the Samsung, anyone has the same problem.
Thanks

Check out either Doubletwist or iSyncer, both of which not only put your music onto your S7 but also sync your playlists.

Or just use Google Play Music. There is an app that you can install on your Mac that runs in the background and uploads/matches all of your tunes from iTunes into the Google Play Music cloud library. Then you can either stream your music that way or "pin" songs/albums to your device, which downloads them to your phone. It allows up to 50,000 songs to be uploaded. That app on your mac will continue to run anytime you add a new song and automatically add it. Unfortunately, it doesn't sync playlists and it doesn't sync play counts, etc.

DoubleTwist can't sync to music on the SD card once Marshmallow was introduced. They started an alpha program with a fix but based on the comments on Google Play it was very buggy so now they're suggesting people sign up for their beta program. But AFAIK they don't have a released product that works on the S7 (because all S7's are Marshmallow or later)

I'm looking at iSyncr but their tech support suggested that I take my SD card out of the phone to sync to it. On the S7 that also takes the SIM card out.

Does anyone know if there's any solid, reliable way to sync an iTunes library to an S7 if your music is on the SD card? (my music is 140G so it has to be on the SD card)

I cut loose from my iTunes and instead used the back up library I have on my macbookair and use the Android File Transfer software.
