IPod connector in Kia Forte

In my Kia is a connector for an iPod that I would like to use with my Galaxy player 5.0. My car radio does not recognize it though. I would like to.be able to control my player via the steering controls. I have looked on the Android Market but haven't found any thing for it. Anyone else try to get this to work with an Android device?

Probably won't happen, since it's made to control an Apple product. The same controls won't work an Android product, as far as i know. I've never heard of it, anyways. Best thing to do would be get a new headunit that utilizes the steering wheel controls and has a Bluetooth interface to Android that can control it. Not exacty cheap or easy though! But I might be wrong, and hopefully someone else knows a trick I don't. Wouldn't surprise me, I don't follow car steareo stuff much anymore!
