iPod to Android

I just ordered my Galaxy S3, and I'm thinking that once it gets here I'll ditch my iPod touch and put all my music and podcasts on my phone.

So, what is the best way to go about that? Will the Android music player play the Apple m4a format, or do they all need to be converted to mp3? Even if it can, I know mp3 files are smaller....is there a utility that would convert my library and move the mp3 to a different location? Is there any way to bring my playlists over as well?

Also, what about podcasts on the Android...any reccomendations for software to get podcasts?

Just upload all your music to Google music and then stream from there. If you want to play off network, use Google music to download onto your phone. Done.
