Thanks Sherri,I had to return my tablet to Samsung in January, as the OS died. Was under warrantee. Returned with 4.0.4 on it.
Assuming this is new stock ICS. Currently rooted with 4.2.1 ROM on it....
As I mentioned in the other thread, I have the GT-P7510 (galaxy tab 10.1 Wi-Fi first version). You have the newer model.
Mine came with 4.0.4 on it, but I am using a 4.2.1 ROM.
FYI - I have the official Samsung ICS v4.0.4 firmware on my 3G Tab. It came with v3.x on it, but when the generic v4.0.4 update was made available to European users, I put it on my Canadian model. In Canada, the carriers put additional software and settings that I don't want, so I put the UK version on mine and it works great. Big improvement over Honeycomb v3.x that's for sure. It runs very close to stock Android with just a few minor tweaks by Samsung. So it came back from Samsung with 4.0.4 on it. Since then you have updated it to 4.2.1? Is this correct?
Just to clarify, this is the Galaxy Tab 10.1 forum, not the Note 10.1 forum, and Jelly Bean has not been officially released for the Tab 10.1, nor will it according to Samsung.I received my Samsung (32gb wifi only version) yesterday (new) and it has Jelly Bean installed on it. (4.1.2) So you can find them (I got mine on Amazon, but from a place called Electronic Express) with Jelly Bean already installed. Loving it so far. Very quick response and very smooth.
