Apps Is Android an RTOS ?

Forgive me if this has been done to death, but can anyone tell me whether Android is an RTOS ?

I haven't seen anything that would indicate that it is, especially when you have 100 apps running.

It's fair to say though that user space may get a bit clogged up with 100 applications running whatever the OS. My question was relating to the technical aspects of Real-Time capabilities like priority inversions, interrupt response, thread scheduling etc ?
