Help Is Android L laggy too?

purujitb

Newbie
I have an HTC M7 phone right now, and it is very laggy (much more that I would want it to be) and I'm planning to change my phone for that reason mainly.
For the new phone I'm confused between android and an iPhone. I have never used an iPhone till now, but I have heard from the apple fans that iPhones are not laggy at all, but I'm very invested in google stuff so I don't want to move to apple either. I was wondering if android L fixes the issues, if yes, then I might just keep my M7 and wait for it to upgrade to it. Otherwise I might have to jump the ship :(

I have an M7 and it's not laggy at all. It could be that the problem is something you've installed, rather than the phone itself.

As HTC have not released L for the M7 yet, nobody knows how that will perform.

Another option is to root the phone, which allows you to try out different ROMs (e.g. with or without HTC's Sense software), custom kernels and other performance or interface modifications.
