Having issues with sync not working? Mine was working then literally a minute later its like hurrdurr experiencing problems, it will be back shortly. Its been about 3 weeks now and still no sync. Suggestions or fixes?
 
ive tried rebooting several times, ive tried redoing my login for facebook and such but no luck. and its still not syncing
 
Okay. What, exactly, is not syncing? Gmail? Facebook? Everything? Has it ever synced? Did you download any apps just prior to the syncing not working? Do you remember which apps?
 
i dont recall downloading anything just prior to it, and just my facebook to my contacts. like it used to show my contacts facebook profile pictures in say my handcent inbox, and in the chat next to the bubble, now it just shows a white head silhouette.
 
Now we're getting somewhere!

Have you tried logging out of the FB account sync and logging back in? (Not just turning sync on and off, but remove your account login info, enter a temporary bogus login/pw, then re-enter yours)
 
Also, from reading another thread in here, it looks like there has been a FB app update this week. Check your market app and see if it needs to update.
 
i did the update and i had to log into the app. then i went to see what accounts were syncing in my contacts, and i had 2 of my facebook but one said it was experiencing problems while the other was green. so i deleted the bad one and am restarting my phone now to see if that fixes it
