Is anyone having trouble with service

I always have great service at my house and in and around my area but yesterday and today I've been having a lot of problems. Half of the time I can't make/receive calls or texts. Some moments I'll have no bars a little while later full bars but 2 seconds later it will drop to 1 or nothings. Just curious if anyone else is having problems.

My best guess is that the Sprint tower near your house if having the Network Vision improvements installed, which can cause the tower to be down while they do work on the upgrade.

Call them, they will let you know if their are any network issues in your area.

Is there a way to check online for outages in my area? I can't get phone or internet signal.

My phone keeps "searching for signal". I've always been able to get a decent signal from this location.

Yes. Had connection issues for over a month. After trying different radios, roms, reverting to stock, calling VM tech support I finally got irritated. After more than 2 years of excellent connectivity it suddenly went down the crapper when they added the 4G. Pissed me off enough that I bought another phone and went to another carrier.

Yes, VM + EVO V is a POS. Switching to AT&T on Tuesday...Yes, I'll be paying more, but I'll also have a phone/service that is reliable.

The Optimus V is a mini tank. Amazing lower entry level phone, on a shitty carrier.

Quite honestly I've seen people in a rage with all the carriers. The one thing is with Virgin if your bill is never a surprise! Service is mostly ok but again, I've I
seen people with all the carriers suddenly drop coverage.
