Is drop box broken?

I've uploaded a video to the public folder then shared the link by email to a friend, he's unable to view the video says "can't be played" I've tried sending it to myself and get the same problem.

Any ideas thanks.

Maybe the file is of a type that's not supported by your media player.

You may need additional software or codec plug-ins t make pc software read media created on a portable device as portable devices tend to use higher compression file types. (png images as oppose to jpg for example)

Thanks for the reply, the video is MP4 surely most players can play this? I've gotthe Mx player and this plays most videos no sweat. Also tried a few others to.

Try exporting the file to sd card and then playing it.

I can play the file on my phone no problem, its when i send the link to my friend with an iphone or to my self through male.
