Is everything in the g1 marketplace free?

Though I think some things are just trials and direct you to a website where you have to pay... Am I right?
 
i haven't come across any app's that I had to pay for. I've come across numerous apps that are all in beta or trial, so it will eventually run out. One game, i think it was pool, would only give you one or two shots (not only a full game) before telling you that the "Free Trial had ended"

Does anybody know how long before developers start charging for apps? i know it will eventually happen, but is there any set date or anything?
