I'm hoping it is and I'm just too much of a newbie to find how... (spent all morning googling and checking forums add youtube) for a way to customize my 7 home pages. I have beautiful widget for the clock and weather but all 7 screens have the same wall
paper and lock screen. Also the icons could use a little bling Maybe even a banner.. Thanks in advance

You might have better luck using a replacement launcher (LauncherPro or ADW launcher, both are free) as they are significant improvements over the stock home experience. They've made things smoother, faster, and allow many more options for customization. They allow more icons per screen, you can change the number of screens, remove the labels, customize a dock bar, gesture controls, and ADW allows you to download themes for your launcher that will even tweak the look of some of the icons.
