Ok, hopefully I'm not being too picky here. Replacing my current phone is three months away, February could not come soon enough. I will DEFINITELY be getting an android, no doubts about it. But what I'm wondering is if the following phone is being planned for the us.

Android 2.0 (or higher)
Hardware Keyboard (prefer a slider like droid, but I'm not picky)
Snapdragon Processor
Carrier doesn't matter

Yes, I'm aware that the droid meets almost all of those requirements, but I'm super picky. I appreciate anyone's help on this, I've been searching and having a fairly rough time locating one.

I just got the Droid on release day, and I'm already wondering what will be available a year from now when I'm up for annual discount.

I honestly think you'll be happy with Motorola's Droid. The Verizon network will make all the difference for you. There's a 30 day return policy so try it ... I think you'll like it.

Currently the droid is what I'm going after. However I get this strange feeling that the rumored "nexus one enterprise/business" will be announced like the day after I buy it, but oh well. such is life.
