is it possable to change phone number rooted 2.3.7

Hello all, Im trying to send text using groove ip but I get a sprint authentication error 97.
Is it posable to change to change my rooted androids phone number to the one assigned by groove ip and would this solve the problem.

No, not possible. I suggest contacting the developer (snrb.labs at gmail.com) and ask their advice. They are very prompt returning emails. Before contacting them, test to see if you can work over wifi - it will help the analysis.
