Is it possible for Chromecast to get virus? Should I be concerned about any security risks when buying used/refurb chromecast on Ebay,etc?

There are no Android or Linux viruses. Very unlikely a Chromecast could carry any malware if for no other reason than not enough.storage memory.
Relax. Really nothing to worry about.
