Is it possible for me to install Xposed without root?

I wanted to install Xposed on my phone to get those extra features Greenify offers but I don't want to root my phone. I'm running Android 6.0.1 with vanilla Android experience. My device is - Panasonic ELUGA Ray MaX. Any more information needed then please ask. So, is it necessary that I will have to root to install xposed?
