I've got a cheap ZTE Valet running Android 4.1.1. It does what I need it to, but I'm having an issue with android.process.media.
As far as I've learned, it's the tool that scans your device to index media files. But the thing is, I don't need Google indexing my media files, I've got them sorted by folders and I use Folder Player to play the stuff I want. I've got a 32 GB SD Card with about 10 GB of MP3s on it.
My problem is when android.process.media decides to re-scan it basically makes the phone useless until it is done. Can I just disable the app and be done with it? Or is there a better solution?
