Is it possible to download shared files and torrents?

Is it possible to download .zip or .rar files from my phone through file sharing sites like mediashare or sites like that?

I dont want to HAVE to use a Desktop or Laptop for the rest of my life when phones and tablets are so powerful.

Also, while im at it, what about torrents? Can i download them as well?

There are torrent apps available for Android. Please use them responsibly for non piracy and / or copyright infringement uses.

Yes you can easily download files from mediashare etc., or you could root your phone and install debian on it, and... here you go, back to PC again, but this time on your phone

Yes you can download torrent apps like Utorrent but it dont have a pause feature id recommend ATorrent as it does have a pause and more features. i think its called . and as for .zip and .rar files yes just use chrome to download the file then use Zarchive to extract. and yes no illegal downloading i tryed them with a Linux torrent thats how i know the apps. also watch your data usage or use wifi
