Help Is it possible to play a Powerpoint slideshow with sound on Android?

I have a couple of old PowerPoint slideshows with sound that still play fine on my pc
However on adding them to my Android Tablet they play fine but have no sound.

Are the sound files embedded into the ppt or is it simply linked? If it's linked it won't play if the ppt is not on your PC. It won't even work on a different PC.

Am not sure. I think linked as the pictures are in a folder with the PowerPoint show.
Though I can play in on different computers.

WPS Office for Android can play embedded sounds in PPTs, I know because that's what I often use to review lesson materials on my phone. But that is sounds actually contained within the PPT files, as I normally have them, and NOT hot-linked from elsewhere, because that could make things messy IMO.

Do they play on other computers when opened on a USB flash drive? Have you tried putting them on the desktop of a different a pc?

That's exactly how I store and use my PPTs.

They contain the audio, and can open and play them on my phone if I want via OTG, using WPS Office. Also open them on any classroom PC as well from the USB flash drive.

That works because the hyperlinks didn't change location AFAIK. But once you copy it out of flash drive, AFAIK it won't work anymore.

I will have to check that one out. I have some training presentations that might benefit.

I have now tried WPS Office for Android and OTG from a memory stick. Microsoft for android wont play them at all.
No sound still
The files play with sound on my pc and also on the memory stick when it is plugged into the computer.

Frankly I'm not a fan of MS Office for Android anyway, one thing it must be connected to the internet, even if the PPTs are stored on the device itself, e.g. SD storage or OTG. I mentioned earlier I know WPS for Android can definitely play sound in PPTs if they're embedded in the document itself, because that's what I do quite frequently. If the sounds are hyperlinked from elsewhere, I don't know, I've never done that when making and editing PPTs. Same with images, they're always embedded, never hyperlinked from outside of the PPT document.

For my uses, any media like sounds and images must be embedded in the PPT, i.e. it's a single file. Because have to do that for when sharing PPTs on academic resource sites like Baidu Wenku and ISL.
