Unfortunately my husbands grandmother passed away and due to family problems I'm going to use my cell phone payment to cover funeral costs, My husband works out of town and i dont want to make it harder on him with money troubles. If i can text him he won't know.

The only way I know would be if your connect via wifi and use your email to send n receive texts.

what about prepaid? you can get text plans for a couple bucks I think.

I don't know about the fascinate but other android phones can run on cricket/etc with different rom.


easiest way is still google voice. no wifi? just get an account and text through the web interface. it can be a pain getting everyone to use a new number but its worth it.

I was asking if the OP could perhaps use Google Voice to send text messages. This has nothing to do with sending an email.

I use my my GMail to send text messages. If you know the carrier of the phone you are sending to there is usually an email address you can send to.
