Onii

Lurker
I've used Samsung j1 mini prime for a year now and i finally got to change my phone to Vivo Xshot but the thing that i hate about this new phone is that the android version is 4.3 and samsung j1 mini prime is 6.1.So it is possible to upgrade android version on vivo xshot and if so how to do it ?

damn, looks like im stuck with crappy phone again for a year....(i didnt bought the phone btw got it for free)

Well, it's not so much that model is crappy, its hardware specs aren't that bad at all:

Going by hardware specs that X Shot is a decent upgrade from the J1, the problem being more a matter where Vivo apparently has some issues internally as a company supporting its own product. But the Android version issue has been a long-standing one overall so whatever.
The real issue is because Jelly Bean is so dated, you 'might' encounter some real problems as far as getting current apps and using some online services. They didn't do you any real favors with this X Shot phone. Any chance you can just contact your carrier and just get a better phone upgrade? You're paying them for a service, and you should have to fight with your phone every day just to use it.
