Hi there all.
First off, I must confess to knowing next to nothing with regard to mobile phones. I use them, I like them but it's the one form of technology I know little about.
So, with that in mind
My daughter has a Huawei Ascend P2 which she said is running very slow and "doing strange things". Apparently her Facebook app keeps wigging out, and the one thing I've noticed is it will send multiple duplicate text messages.
My immediate reaction was could it be some form of virus or malware. After a bit of research got her to install the Avast Software Mobile security & antivirus. This seems to have done next to nothing.
Usually when I get to this stage on a PC I start to think its time to reload from scratch.
Would that be the next logical step do you think, being as neither of us seem to be able to pinpoint the source of the problem. Well let be honest, it's my daughters phone, fathers aren't allowed to even touch their daughters phones
That's teenagers for ya.
If a reload is the next step, could anybody point me in the right direction as to how best to go about this please? Last thing I want to do is trash my daughter precious data. That would be a fate worse than death
Any advise would be gratefully received.
Thanks..!!
PS. It's on the 3 network, if that makes any difference.
