is it true you can buy a samsung galaxy S2/HTC sensation in the US for $199 and a HTC rezound/vigor for $299 ? impossible!...that's the price of bb curve 2G in my country SA ( R1500 which is about $199 ) and $299 (R2500) will almost get you a galaxy ACE in SA yet there in the US it will get you a rezound or Nexus prime ?
and how much is an iPhone 4 and 4S in the US ?
(all prices are prepaid)

surly there must be a mistake and hidden costs ?
 
In my part of Canada, the prices are about the same as those in the USA, but we need to sign a 3 years contract instead of 2.

Without contract, it easily goes up to $800 for a good phone.
 
1. we have to sign a 2 yr contract..

2. the price for the service is higher... $90 / month

3. they restrict some function from us.. unless we pay for it.

4. cost more for more data.. only Sprint is unlimited.

5. our phones are stuck on the carrier that gave it to us... not Unlocked for any carrier.

or
pay full retail!

I would have lower monthly service.. and pay full retail for phone that can be used on other carriers...
