Is anyone else getting a "configuration message" from metro. It appears they're trying to change something. Two days and two different phones we have gotten this message. I've just canceled it. I don't trust them for s**t. .

I have a OnePlus One and have not received the message. My wife has a completely stock OPO and has not received the message. I have a Moto G for my mom and she has not received the message either.

I'm on a new Samsung Avant on MetroPcs. The other phone is a Lg F6 also on MetroPcs. Their on the same account for over 5 years, In Phila. Pa.. The Avant is bone stock and the F6 is on Kk.mini VOA.

I did receive a message to my Optimus F6, telling me to download new APN.

MetroPCS WAP

APN: fast.metropcs.com
Proxy: 216.155.165.50
Port:8080
MCC:310
MNC:260
Auth: PAP
APN Type: defualt
APN Proocol: IPv4

MetroPCS MMS
APN: fast.metropcs.com
MMSC: http://metropcs.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
Proxy: 216.155.165.50
Port:8080
MCC:310
MNC:260
APN Type: MMS
APN Protocol: IPv4

The speeds were around 0.5 - 1.5 mbps. If your phone is using these APN switch back to fast.metropcs.com without the proxy. There porxy servers are slowing down the connection, I guess to give T-Mobile user priority. Which is understandable.
