is my phone bricked?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace, and it froze whilst loading an app so I had to take the battery out to switch it off. Now it's stuck looping the boot screen. I tried a factory reset with power + volume + home buttons, but when I tried reboot system now it said it "failed to mount /data". What should I do now?
