Is my phone left-handed?

But seriously, lol. When i touch my screen using my right hand i don't get the expected action when i touch or swipe using my left hand. Example if i touch the "Reply" button with a right hand finger the screen goes to the "view last used apps" screen. it functions as expected when i touch the same button with my left hand… . go figure right????

Mine is ambidextrous, it doesn't care which hand I use, it screws up whenever it wants

I would check how you're holding it with your left hand when you use the right hand to tap on things. Does it do this is the phone is flat on a table?

It's a feature called 'one-handed mode', where ya swipe across near the Nav keys and it shrinks everything and pulls it to one side, closer and smaller so you can better reach the farther key easier.. It can usually be turned off in Settings or Launcher settings

My thumbprint key is right hand, I mostly use my right hand on my phone.
