Is my Pro on it's last leg?

Something weird happened today. I swiped the screen to the left to access an app and the screen went black. As in the phone turned off. I knew for a fact the battery still had 50% charge. Holding the power button did not turn the phone on. I thought it fried on me. I held the power button for about 1 minute and suddenly it turned on. It booted fine and still showed 51% charge. Has this ever happened to anyone?

While it's still running be sure to back up your data. Then give it a good charge and reboot, and see if it runs normally. Could have been just a one-time glitch.

It's happened to me before.

What version software do you have and who is your carrier? Have you done all the software updates?

I'm on B12 and my carrier is Metro.

I backed up my contacts and it's been running fine today. Hopefully it was a glitch. One thing I forgot to mention is that about 2 weeks ago I had a severe battery drain in a very short period of time. I'm talking about the charge dropping from 45% to below 10 in a matter of an hour with the phone idling. I got the low battery chime and thought it was strange. Thought maybe an app got stuck and drained it, so I didn't think much of it. We'll see.

Every so often I've ran into a similar issue where some app/process goes bonkers and taxes the battery really hard. But if you take a look at your Settings >> Battery menu is there anything notable that stands out as a significant drain?

Ya that's because you all need to look at what apps are in your phone at the top you'll see a blank app unistall that and be ok wow that's a virus wow
