Is Netflix Coming to Droid 2

Its bugging me that I cant find any information on this. I love the app on the Ipod Touch, and Ive stayed with Netflix patiently waiting for this to come to my phone.

I look it up and the only thing I can find is it supposedly isnt coming to current Android phones because of security issues? Which is total BS. Blockbuster app runs fine on my phone....

There is nothing stopping Google from releasing a "secure" android update. And to top it off, there are a ton more users that wont steal it than those smart enough to do so. Plus its on Winows phone....

Im already debating switching to BB since they offer games online too, so is Netflix coming?

The concern is on Netflix's end. They want to be sure nobody can steal their copyrighted content that's viewed on Android phones.

There are common sense ways around it. I mean its not hard to hack Iphones and stuff too.

There is a PlayOn app that was released and you can stream Netflix through it. They could simply take a similar approach and run it through a computer or something too. Id have no issues with it, I just want Netflix on my phone.

My guess is it's more an issue with the content owners. Their contracts with Netflix probably restricts Netflix to only providing service on devices with certain levels of security.
