Quickoffice came pre-installed on my Samsung Infuse 4G. I wanted to read a Microsoft Word document on my phone, and it said I can complete the action with Quickoffice. But then it led me to the registration screen for this app. I was afraid that there might be a fee for this. Is there a fee for it, or is it free?

From what I understand, the preloaded QuickOffice is a 30 day trial. QuickOffice Pro is $9.99 which allows you to view and edit Word/spreadsheets/presentations documents.
If all you need to do is view documents(no editing) then there are a couple free apps including Documents To Go Main 3. Again this version is just for viewing Word,Excel,Powerpoint documents. If you want the ability to edit then you'll need the paid version.
