I have a nexus 7 tablet and I would really like to use it while out and about. I've recently switched to a gsm phone and I'm noticing most of the pre paid gsm mvno carriers are not allowing tethering. I don't understand this, as my old cdma carriers like boost, virgin, and cricket all had tethering add ons. Why is it such a big deal to these gsm carriers? If you have 2gb of full speed data, and a smartphone capable of tethering, what's it to them if you use that 2gb all on your phone, or some on a tablet or laptop?
