Is the 5x a good upgrade from the n5?

My beloved Nexus 5 is no longer of this world, and I need to replace it.

I expect that some of you would have had an n5 before you got a 5x - is it a worthwhile upgrade?

Having read reviews, I'm a bit concerned about battery life and freezing/stuttering.

I upgrade to the 5X from the N4. I haven't had any problems at all with my 5X.

I'm now realizing how handy Miracast was. They turned it off on the 5x. Supposedly if you root you can easily turn it back on though. I might just for that, but it'll make updates more annoying.

I had a Nexus 5 and liked it and in May I bought a Nexus 5x. I've had zero problems with the Nexus 5x and like Android 7. I had an app on my Nexus 5 for a while that drained the battery but I've had no battery problems with the Nexus 5x. I'm not sure what lagging is but that might be because I don't play games on my phone. If we reset the clock to April and I know what I know now about the Nexus 5x, I'd buy it again.
