Help Is the *#9900# delete dumpstate/logcat option available on a tablet?

After 2 hours reading every forum going and unsuccessfully searching Google I would like to know if the*#9900# trick you can do on mobiles to clear system error logs works on tablets? My ltitle boys Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 is virtually out of internal memory. Everything that can be moved to the SD card has been, apps caches have been cleared, the cache partition has been wiped and still he only has about 150mb free even though his apps total less than 1Gb and all media is on the card. It has grown by itself and apps have been DELETED rather than installed but to no avail. Clearing error logs helped a lot with my Wildfire S although this was done via developer tools. All searching throws up to is to dial *#9900# on the phone and most threads asking about tablets went unanswered. How do I clear these logs as I'm certain it's those.
