Help Is the Galaxy S8 compatible with Quick Charge 2.0? 3.0?

I know the Galaxy S7 also supported Qualcomm's Quick Charge technology -- as well as Samsung's own Fast Charge tech -- so I'm wondering if anything changed for the S8/S8+?

Looking to buy some spare chargers and need to know if I should be shopping around for QC 2.0 chargers or what.

All reviews I've seen claim it's Quickcharge 2.0.

Which is weird, as the s835 supports QC4.0, and so should support 3.0 too.

Is this a snapdragon/Exynos thing, or have Samsung downgraded QC compatibility (either to not make their own Exynos look bad or to sell more of their own accessories?)?

I wonder if they want to play it safe with anything battery related so anything that could potentially generate excess heat (as Quick charging does) is limited?

Possible. But presumably their own fast charging also generates heat (you canna change the laws of physics), so does that mean it's similar to QC2.O?
